આપણામાંના મોટાભાગના લોકોને પોતાના મૄત્યુ પછી દેહદાન કે ચક્ષૂદાન કરવાનો વિચાર કેમ નહી આવતો હોય?

તમને મૂંઝવે છે: “આપણામાંના મોટાભાગના લોકોને *પોતાના મૄત્યુ પછી* દેહદાન કે ચક્ષૂદાન કરવાનો *વિચાર કેમ નહી આવતો હોય?*”
મને મૂંઝવે છે: “પોતાના મૄત્યુ પછી કોઈ પણ વિચાર આવતો પણ હશે?”
અરે સાહેબ, આ કોઇ શબ્દોની રમત નથી. લોકો દેહદાન/ચક્ષૂદાન કેમ નહિ કરતા હોય?

This is NOT in our Blood ( Hindu or Muslim) in the Eastern Culture…we only think about keeping the body “as is “at the time of the Death.
Now, the newer Generation more often think about this “as the Donation” !

પણ ‘ donatition’ તરીકે જૂએ એમાં ખોટુ શું છે? મરતી વખતે આંખો અને અન્ય અવયવો બીજાના કામમાં આવે તે ઉત્તમ છે.

The General Public is not able to accept the giving of the Body Part as a Donation.
The root cause of this belief is Dharm Concept of Human Body even if Dead must be “kept as is”..And, “keeping as is” prevents the Public to accept a part to be donated.
This needs “education” from the ground up….Priests & Sants & Kathakars getting involved…the Social Workers & the Leaders becoming “politically active”to promote the “goodness in donating the Organs or Body Parts”….and then the Common Person getting involved with the “practical examples of how he/she or the relatives getting the benefit of the Prolonged Life”….Another sad part is the Doctor Community is “not that active to promote the value of the Organ Donations”….The Poverty in India is abused to make the “SALE of ORGANS” flourish !..This is sad !….But, if we make the “Organ Donation Banks” filled with the needed Organs then ALL..even the POORS will benefit (provided the System is NOT corrupt)
I am a POSITIVE THINKER..and one day there will the needed “Parivartan” in the Society !
